A B O U T
Like many of us, as a youngster I enjoyed playing many different sports but I particularly excelled at athletics and was fortunate enough to compete for Essex, the South of England, England and Great Britain as a 100 metre sprinter. I trained alongside numerous elite athletes and was tutored by the country’s top coaches.
After graduating from University with a degree in Sports Science, I went onto become a PE teacher and Personal Trainer. I combine this academic knowledge with a wealth practical experience when designing training programmes for clients.
My training sessions are always fresh and varied, utilising the most up to date, cutting edge training methods and equipment.
My philosophy is to train SMART not necessarily hard, so rather than asking you to perform mindless exercises that get you little more than sweaty, I design scientifically researched programmes that challenge you physically and mentally, providing you with the maximum results in the minimum time.
I only advocate exercises and offer nutritional advice that has undergone the rigours of research and proven to work. I WILL NOT prescribe any over-hyped exercises or diet regimes that are UNETHICAL or UNSUSTAINABLE.
As an elite athlete I had to overcome many barriers to achieve the goals that were set for me. Drawing on this experience, I utilise a range of motivation strategies (learnt through working with numerous elite coaches) to ensure you overcome your barriers and achieve your fitness goals.
